Well this week has flown by, still no news as to wether Danni has got a place in the local High School, we attended the appeal (tuesday) & they get back to you in 5 days....thats all very good if the schools are open, but they close today, so I just really hope they let her in, because come September she will miss out on school, as will Katie (whos got a placement there) because I can't send one of them to one school & the other to another school.....as I wrote this yesterday we hadn't heard but got a fone call this morning saying Danni has a place & starts after the hols...phew!!! was starting to thinkwe might have to move house again, because the next nearest school is nearly 2 miles away & there are no buses, so it such a weight lifted. Can really enjoy having my girlies at home for the hols now....
Anyways onto todays DT card for Moving Along With The Times, this week we have a sketch by Brenda & a theme of pastel, vintage. Well I really, really struggled with this card, it took me soooooooooooo far out of my comfort zone, it was scary......
Well after much making & taking apart, swearing, stropping, shouting very nearly crying lol! heres my card...
I thought I would adapt the sketch to an easel card as I love making these, &
this card is going to be just perfect for Niges auntie....
Thought I would show you a close up of the easel bit...
And a close up of the bottom panel.

Our sponsor this week is Lilac lemon designs
"Lilac Lemon Designs is a relatively new company to the market, opening it's checkout in September 2009. Our stamps are unique and hopefully appealing to all ages. Most of our stamps are made from high quality red rubber but we do have a new line of clear stamps which work beautifully with Nestabilities as well as on their own."
The winner will recieve two stamps of their choice as long as they are in stock..
I have tried to remember the last time I made a card without a digi or stamped image & I really can't remember....I think it must be my addictin to my Promarkers or old age either way, I think I'm gonna have to sort out my discs & start using them again before Nige finds them & wonders why there is 6" of dust on top lololololol huge hugs & thanks for stopping by....don't forget to pop by the main blog & see the other girls DT cards xx
