Paper Piecing!

Lol! Its sounds sooooo easy, well I s'pose it is with a rubber stamp! But oh the problem I had doing this card using a digi!!! LOL! I didn't know which way up to put my paper in my printer, where to put the paper (it was a 6" square & I usually only use A4!!) so I ended up printing on the back & only getting part of the image on the paper! But I had such a giggle doing it! I can't believe I never take any notice of which way round the paper prints!!

Anyhoos heres the details of this weeks challenge over at Craft Your Passion!

This was my first attempt at using my sewing machine on a card!  Nige got it me about 14 years ago & I used it once it scared me to death.....how quick it went lol but I decided to give it another go & it wasn't to bad lol...my stitching isn't anywhere near straight but I think thats better! Don't you?

  2. oh whata cute card .. i love paperpiecing.I always print out my image onto a piece of white copier paper first ... then attach my patterned paper over the image and runt it through the printer again.. then i know it is printing in the right place.

  3. Super beautiful card you made. I like the patterned papers and colors that you used. You made me thought that I just bought a mini sewing machine for my cards but I've never yet used. I have to try that.

  5. This is a great card Shell, lovely image with perfect paper piercing!! I was going to say the same thing Lisa Jane did, it makes it real easy that way. Believe me your stitching is far better than mine lol but seriously it is really good for a 14 year gap between goes.
