Shrink Plastic! Lol!

Its Thursday which usually means two creations from me, but today I have teamed them up together!

So first we have Delightful Challenge where this week we want to see your

ANYTHING BUT A CARD

creations, I have used one of the fab SVG (they come in loads of other different cuts, even so you can hand cut the box out!) that Wendy has made.

Also over at MAWTT we have a challenge that I picked lol!

SHRINK PLASTIC!

well all was going well until I decided to burn my finger & drop my heat tool. Mmmmm it broke so only managed to make one of the four cupcakes I wanted to do! I thought they would be a nice present for Katie's friends mom & I thought the cupcake magnets went perfect with Josie!

Katie certainly enjoyed colouring them in!

I had planned on doing four of these cakes & sticking magnets to the backs, but nope, not after my heat tool breaking! At least I managed one I suppose!

  18. Thanks for sharing your adorable cupcake magnet project with everyone at ABAC! I love shrink plastic - but it is so hard with a heat gun. If you have a toaster oven, you might want to try this: I cut a small section of chipboard {large enough to give a lot of space around SP} and place the shrinky on it. Then I put it in the toaster oven on the lowest toast setting and turn it on...I WATCH IT CLOSELY because it will be done lickety-split...in a matter of seconds. When you see its done take it out immediately. Easy and no burned fingers. Look forward to seeing more of your work :)
