To UTEE Or Not To UTEE?

Hi there fellow crafters, I hope you are all well.
This is my DT creation for 'Get Creative' we are sponsored by Fabrika Fantasy' so Make sure you pop over here & see what you can win!

Now I'm hoping you will all give me an answer by the end of this post...
To UTEE or not to UTEE!
I love playing with embossing powders & came across a video on YouTube explaining about Utee, me I've never heard of this stuff before...so after some research I decided I NEEDED some. Lol.... so I made my purchase & waiting patiently for it to arrive. I thought it would look so good over my coloured seahorse. So when it arrived I played.....half way through melting my Utee & loving the look, my ancient heat gun went poof...literally it went poof, smoke & smells & all sorts of wrongness going on!
So I ordered a new heat gun, a hair dryer shaped one this time tho. Managed to finish my project off & I absolutely love the look. Its not smooth tho, which I think makes it look more like water than glass. Anyhoos what do you think, I have posted before & after pictures xx

I think adding the Utee, its made the colours brighter!
