Precious the Donkey

Today over at Digital Delights its my turn to be your Hostess & show you either a technique I like or just show you an image I really love.

I was going to show you how different images look coloured in different mediums (Promarkers/Flexmarkers, crayons, pencils, distress inks etc) but with starting my new job last week I just ran out of time. I will try again for next time.

So for this Monday I have one of my favourite images coloured up & popped on a card to share with you......

I just love Wendy's fab set of Donkeys, I think I have used them more than any other of Wendy's images & Precious is my favourite she is a darling!

Hostess Monday

Its time for me to share with you a special creation I made for Digital Delights. I'm not sure about you, but I love making my own decoupage using stamped/digi images. So that's what I did for my Hostess Monday creation!

After taking an absolute age on deciding what image I would use, I finally settled on 'Celebration Owl' I just thought he was perfect to layer. What do you think?

Well I decided to use this awesome 'Alien Andy' set, you get the image, paper & sentiment in the set & its a fab set. I love the colours on the papers.

I decided to fussy cut Andy & his spaceship out & raise him up with 3D glue.

Monday Hostess over at Digital Delights

It's my time to share with you a special creation I have made for Digital Delights. I decided to go right back to the beginning of my Digital Delight journey & share with you my first make & my brand new take on the same image!

Here's the link to my first ever DD post, which was on the 9th June 2011....I can't believe its that long ago!!!

Ok so I decided to revamp the image & make something hopefully better lol....

I think my colouring is & also my layouts are a lot more involved, but that's just down to  the wonderful invention of the die cut lol!

Nawty Nico!!

I'm here today to share with you my Monday Hostess creation for Digital Delights. I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Saturday we decided to take Nico out for a pootle, as it had been a few days since his last walk! 

So here are some photos of Nico I thought I'd share with you. Just so you know he didn't eat all the ice-cream I ate most of it lol....but he was so funny, when I tried to take it away from him he growled. When he realised it had gone he sat & held his paw up to be shook. When I ignored him, he shuffled on his bottom to get closer to me then held out his paw again. He had all the visitors to Manifold Valley in hysterics. He had lots of photos taken as well, some people just can't believe I have a pet skunk & take him for walks lol....yeah a bit mad is me xx

Just a proper cutie, I can't tell you the difference this little bundle of fur has made to my life. I love him so much & yeah spoil him rotten xx

'Hostess Monday'

I'm hoping Mr Blogger is behaving himself today & posts this for me. Nige has got today off so we are off over to Lincoln to visit my blogging friend Kim. We haven't met up in a while so its gonna be a day of giggles & chatting I think!

Anyhoos today's post is one every DT member at Delightful Challenges takes part in over there DT term & it's my turn again yippee! I love to take this opportunity to think out of the box & show you something a bit different for me. I don't usually make things with paper, I tend to stick to my cards....unless Jenson (my Ecraft) cuts it out! Well today's creation came about after I saw a clip on YouTube & decided to have a go myself.

Well as you can see I managed to make it & I am really happy with the way its turned out. I will be making more I think!
