Lili

Today I am here to show you my latest creation for Inky Impressions. But I am no longer on the challenge team, I am now the DT co-ordinator for Inky's Inspirational blog. Please pop over & have a look back at what fabulous creations the Inspirational DT have created!

So my creation today....I made for a friend who always suffers at Christmas, as they lost their Mom when they were younger just before Christmas Day. I know I hate the time in between Christmas & New Year as my Nan passed away then when I was younger...it's horrible.

Anyhoos enough depressing natter, on with my card. I have tried a new technique with my colouring & to be honest I love how her face has come out. I tend to blend until you can't see the shading without really looking, so this time I have stopped lol!

Moooooo!

Wow...it's Saturday again, time is flying past! Thankfully with the girlies being 16 & 17 now they mainly want money for Christmas, except for the few things they have asked for. Didge wants a 'How to Draw People' book, to help with hands. She is really good at drawing but can't do hands lol! So that's been delivered already & Katie asked for a 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' t-shirt which I have ordered. The rest they can get themselves in the sales, other than a tenner each on bits & pieces that's them sorted as they both asked for money!

Anyhoos, on with today creation, which is for My Time To Craft. This week we have gone totally away from Christmas. The theme is.....

FARMYARD ANIMALS

So anything you see down on the farm will be fab.

Hi & welcome to my small part of the WWW! If you are a regular vistor here you will know I have a slight addiction to different pencils, pens, inks, paints etc. That I use to colour my images with, well today is a first....I have coloured my image today using my new Spectrum Noir pencils. No pens just pencils on their own. Might try them with my pens next time. They are lovely to colour with, think I will be using these a lot.
Don't be to harsh, as it is my first time using them!!

I decided to use a Sugar Nellie digi image that was a freebie, last week over at Kit & Clowder on Facebook. You really need to check them out as they always have something going on with a discount or freebies....

Happy Birthday to Ya!

I just want to apologise to all  those who I regularly visit....my M.E has been an absolute toe rag this last few weeks, with me crafting in between sleeping. I've been sleeping on average 18-20 hours a day, so crafting has been done in between eating & sleeping lol! Hopefully this will go away really soon, as I am fed up of not being able to play much with Nico or see Nige & the girlies for very long! Nige did drag me out of the house on Saturday as we has promised to help with a bird of prey show. Don't really remember much of it lol I walked around in a daze. Sunday we managed a trip in to Wales to Lake Vwerny I slept all the way there, had a walk, fell asleep as soon as we got in the car again & after we had had burgers cooked by Nige I got back in the car & fell asleep while they went off wondering lol!! Then I slept all the way home as well, don't remember getting in to bed! Lol good job Nige is patient with me lol!

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Inky Impressions, where this week we have a sketch for you to follow. Please click here or scroll down to the end of my post to see the sketch.

Don't forget you don't need to use an Inky image to enter!

It's Tuesday, so that means a new sketch from Try Stampin' on Tuesday. I really struggled with the sketch this week & left it until the last minute to make anything...oops! But suddenly remembered my Panpastels, so found them & used them. The only thing I think I'd change is I'd make the flowers smaller. But after all the worry I am pleased with the end result. You will find the sketch here, or you can scroll down to the end of my post.
The theme is the same as it has been all summer, 'things that make you happy!'
