Christmas Is Coming!!

First before I get to my card for today, I want to say a huge thank you for the cards that you sent for Katie & the emails, texts & phone calls of support we have received  You truly are great friends I wish I could give each & everyone of you a huge hug xx
A huge special thank you to Hazel (Didos) & Kim for your support &
for just being there for me! xxx

A quick update on what's happened over the last two weeks. Katie went back to school & seemed to be managing ok, other than the odd text from her saying that she didn't like sitting next to an empty chair things seemed to be ok....until we found out the date for the funeral (which is next Monday, 3 weeks from when Jess passed) Katie has just gone downhill. Getting into bed with us, which she didn't even do as a baby! Really clingy not wanting Danni her elder sister out of her sight & lying on our bed until I've gone to sleep making sure I'm ok! I'm hoping that after the funeral things will slowly get back to normal. I know things will never be the same for Katie, but I'm hoping the funeral will give her the chance to say goodbye xx
I will be popping around to visit you all soon, as I have Katie off school at the moment I'm spending time with her! Hopefully after Monday my crafty routine will be back to normal!

Anyhoos enough of that, I can't believe its 2 weeks since I posted & in that time I have made two cards lol. One for a GDT in December & today's creation which is for Sparkles Monthly! Where this month

It must be so hard for Katie at the minute, but your support will make it easier for her to handle, even if it doesn't feel like it at the minute.

Gorgeous card Shell, it's very sweet - adorable little image.

I'm also terribly sorry for your daughter's loss...I lost my best friend at 17 and although I'm still very sad about it sometimes, time is a great healer, and things will become more normal eventually. The only piece of advice I have is, don't expect her to be 'ok' for a while, I found that after a couple of weeks, everyone expected me to have forgotten all about it, and got angry with me when I was still sad, which really didn't help.

Thanks for joining us at MMCS Challenge Blog with your gorgeous card, and take care.

Tanya xx
