Sketch and Stash challenge 25

I just wanted to wish all my bloggin buddies very, very Happy New Year and I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas....

This card I did before Christmas, but it wasn't until we were on our way back from our holiday today that I remembered I hadn't posted it oops!!!! thankfully the challange over on Sketch and Stash is open until 4th January so still have time lol




A few rules for this one....follow the sketch, but you can rotate or re-size it...the other rule is, you must use at least one thing that is new, a paper, new stamp, new embellishments you get the idea....

Well on mine I used new papers, new ric rac, and my new stamp...




Right for my list of things I used....
Backingpapers were out of my Papermania signature range, Blueberry Hill

I used my Making Memories Slice and the Think Pink sd card for the wording
Stamped image coloured with Promarkers
Hair....caramel, cinnamon and terracotta
Skin and hands....ivory and blush
Jumper....blue pearl, cornflower and bluebell
Socks....bluepearl and cornflower
Trousers....blossom, rose pink and pink carnation
Flowers....pionk carnation and forest green for the leaves
Mug....lush and forest green
The stamp in the corner is from circa stamps and the corner border retro collection

Whiff Of Joy Challenge #60

Well I thought I would enter the Whiff Of Joy challenge as I now own 2 of their stamps lol...and I love them, they are so crisp and the two I have got are so girlie...
I really enjoyed following this sketch, I think its my favourite kind of challenge

Challange number 13 at Delightful Sketches

After seeing that they where having 4 weeks off, I decided to join in this week....over at delightful sketches my fab hubby took me to my local crafty shop today and I brought a Whiff Of Joy stamp..not sure what its called but I think she is adorable, so I used her for my card....



I used quite a few of my new things,
the script stamp is a personal impressions, flower text, stamped in dusky pink and embossed with silver pearl..
I used my Making Memories Slice...Basic Elements card, circle and the Dream text..
My new Whiff of Joy stamp...stamped in tuxedo black memento..coloured in my beloved Promarkers..
Hair..putty, tan and caramel
Trousers..warm grey no: 1 and 3....flowers marsh green and dusky rose
Face and hands...ivory and blush
Jumper and socks...moss and marsh green
Mug...lipstick red and berry red
Flower is from Freds She Said
Ribbon and gems from my stash...

challenge number 12 over on delightful sketches

Well I thought I would have ago at a sketch challange, not done one for an absolute age....the challange is over on here




Right now for the numpty bit....the digi image I can't remember where I got it from..I must remember when I get them to put a code or something in the name bar...lol must be my age, I blame my meds, hubby blames my hair colour????? GREY???? whats that all about lol.....well my friend Anne has just rescued me and you can get Mrs Tilly Clause from here



I think she was called Miss Tilly Clause...if anyone knows please let me know, then I can give credit for a fab digi...
I used my christmas emmbossibilities (oh so pants at spelling lol) disc, some bronze mirri card and butterfly ribbon from my stash, and the image is coloured with my beloved Promarkers, some glamour dust with a bit of extra glitter in, and a Freds flower, and the sentiment is a Daisy and Dandelion ....

Couple of parchment and yes a Promarker card lol..

Well I have been sooooooooooo busy just lately, danni had her best friend to stay last weekend and then today we have had KT's boyfriend round all day they are driving me mad at the mo, wanting me to play on the Wii lol, wot with me not even being able to walk into the kitchen without ending up on my butt...lol might have to have a game of cards and show um whos boss lol

Anyway back to my cards ....the first one I started whilst I was at Louises house, I just love the sepia look its really nice.....after I had mounted the actual thing onto mirri and put it on the card I thought it looked lost, so I found some spare scraps of parchment and laid it over the pattern and inked out the holly leaves, embossed them, cut them out and messed lol...and this is what I came up with in the end...hope you like it...


This next card drove me absolutely insane....my friend always orders his parents cards from me, he tends to look through my mags and say "I would like that from that page and that from that page" etc I think you get the picture (he's a royal pain in the arse lol) well this time he was easy (or so I thought) to please, picked a card straight from my mag....grid work which I absolutely love doing...but I have only got the fine grids and this was done on a bold...well my bud Cal to the rescue again (thanks hun your a darlin') Oh and he paid me £15 for all the hassle lol...so guess what I brought, yeah some more Promarkers lolol




This card I did last minute for KT's boyfriends nan, last weekend for a party she went to ....I followed Wiccababe's instructions for the colouring of the gorjuss girl and I think I went a bit wrong.... as I needed a Fred's Flower in monotone I printed it on thick paper in draft quality and coloured with my promarkers...anyways here she is....
