I decided to think out of the box with this weeks creation! I just love these images & I thought they would look fab in a tunnel card. Well having never made one before I phoned Hazel (didos) up, because I remember her doing a tutorial on her blog! Well she talked me through the measurements, whilst I wrote it all down! Thanks hunnie your a star! Well I did have to change the measurements but I loved making it & I love my finished creation! So did our Katie, guess where it is? Yup its gone upstairs into her room! lol! Hope you do to!

Cosy Winter Owl!

I can't believe its so long since I posted a card, I've been really busy getting ahead of myself! Both the girls & Nige are off next week so we have a few things planned. We are going to Anglesey so we can see the Hawk aeroplanes, Blackpool Pleasure beach & hopefully Chester Zoo or West Midlands Safari Park, so a busy, busy week!

Little Miss!

I was lucky enough the other week to get the whole set of Strawberry Kisses along with my new Humphrey's! We as you know I have already used my Humphrey's a few times already, so I decided it was time to ink up one of these cuties!! I was going to use my Spectrum Noirs, but KT had inched all the greys as she is doing a monochromatic piece for her bedroom wall!! Will take pics when she has finished!

Anyhoos on with my card for today, I decided to post this card today, even tho I did make it yesterday! Because its still really weird not making a card for Crafty Emma's Store! After making a card every Saturday for two years its strange not doing one.....so here is  my none DT creation for this gorgeous Saturday!

It Takes Two!

Ok so yesterday I promised you some exciting news! Well it is for me anyhoos! I am now the proud owner of the My Time To Craft challenge blog whoop whoop! I am so excited! Last night Nige decided we were going out looking for owls lol, well we saw a short eared owl, so Nige was happy but you need to see these pictures of what else we saw.....I had tears in my eyes they were just sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sweet & only about 20ft away, playing & squeaking so cute!

Nige caught the owl diving looking for a mouse!

Today is my gorgeous hubbys 44th birthday, yesterday we went to Cosford & saw the Vulcan flying, amazing aircraft, I did tell him it was especially for him, not sure he believed me tho lolol!

My First Attempt At Using Pencils!!

I just had to get some, after seeing some of your gorgeous creations using pencils along side your Promarkers! I really didn't think I would be able to get any this month as its Nige's birthday on Monday & as he doesn't spend any money on himself at all, we were gonna treat him big! Well I knew he wanted a new camera, but the one he was looking at was £600 lol....oh well its ordered now!! Anyhoos getting back to my fab pencils, Nige took me to The Range (which is about 3 minutes drive from our house lololol) & I was looking at the pencils, I ended up having a small pack of Derwent just to try! The card below is what I did on my first attempt! Well I fell in love with them & after telling Nige how fabby they were, he went online last night & ordered me the full set of Prisma's what a darling....he is the best! Hope you like what I have done with my Lumpy! Warning lots of pics!

I got these gorgeous papers last time I went to the QVC outlet in Shrew & its the first time I've used them!

I still need lots of practice with them, but they do help with colouring, no doubt about it!

so no fantasy images or none living things!! So what did I do for my card lololol!! I did use one of my fab new Humphrey stamps to start with, then realised a dressed up elephant is fantasy! So this is what I came up with in the end!

I just loved this set of stamps as soon as I saw them on my first visit to the NEC about 3 years ago!!
