Together Forever!

Well I still believe in fairytales! Me & Nige have been together 16 years this September so I think my fairytale is coming true!!

Well I decided to make a card, just because, just to say loves ya hun!

Especially after he took me to the QVC shop last weekend & then ordered me the Humpreys corner stamps from Crafter Companion (they came today & are sooooo sweet!!) I thought I just needed to remind him!

You Grow Girl!!

I'm just hoping that my friend who this card is for, has recieved it now! Lol! I do know she comes on my blog lots so I won't tell you who its for!

I decided to do her a congrats card & use the first ever stamp I brought! It was a long time ago, but my friend had just found out she was pregnant & going back then your couldn't get decoupage sheets with pregnant ladies on so I decided to make a card using this stamp which I paid about 99p!! Since then its been used lots lol!!! She is only on a 4" square so you can see how perfect she is, just to say congrats.....YOU GROW GIRL!!!

The flower frame is a totally different stamp that I have had for ages & never used!! oops.....

Paper Piecing!

Lol! Its sounds sooooo easy, well I s'pose it is with a rubber stamp! But oh the problem I had doing this card using a digi!!! LOL! I didn't know which way up to put my paper in my printer, where to put the paper (it was a 6" square & I usually only use A4!!) so I ended up printing on the back & only getting part of the image on the paper! But I had such a giggle doing it! I can't believe I never take any notice of which way round the paper prints!!

This was my first attempt at using my sewing machine on a card!  Nige got it me about 14 years ago & I used it once it scared me to death.....how quick it went lol but I decided to give it another go & it wasn't to bad lol...my stitching isn't anywhere near straight but I think thats better! Don't you?
