Tag It!

Well I did get all excited on Wednesday night, it was snowing when I went to bed & all I could think about was playing with Nico in it when we woke up!
But when we woke up, it was all frozen over & really slippy...so no playing in the snow for us!
But fingers crossed they have forecast it for tomorrow lol I just want an inch for an hour, then it can go. I just want to see what Nico makes of it!

Anyhoos, I'm here today to share with you my latest creation for My Time To Craft. Where this fortnight we are asking you to...

TAG IT!

make a tag or make a card & add a tag to that. It must be a made tag, not a stamped one tho ( I mean those LOTV tag stamps are not allowed)

Over on Facebook, Simply Betty Stamps are doing a monthly progressive challenge &  their theme is tags, so I thought I would combine the two!

I forgot to take a photo of the back. Along with the image you get two sentiments & I used
'You're Just My Type' & its on the back. I just loved colouring in her dress & playing with her pleats.

Adding A Bit of Texture!

This week has been a funny one so far. Getting used to the girlies time tables at college is gonna take a while lol & having Nige home Tuesday & yesterday was fabulous.
He ended up spending his two days off building me an outdoor enclosure for Nico to play, dig & sunbathe in. Will be great just to be able to pop him outside, Nige has also managed to put an electric hookup in the shed, so I can go outside with my laptop & watch films whilst Nico plays.

Anyhoos the real reason I'm here isn't to rabbit on about that, it's to show you my latest creation for Moving Along With The Times. Where this week we want to see some

TEXTURE

added to your creation.
Ok so when I saw this theme I just drew a blank, as I don't own any of that paste stuff or frantage stuff. But then I had a 'oh you silly mare' moment....embossing adds texture, so that's what I did!

Just love this guy cheeky face!

'Speak No Evil'

Before I get to the details of today's creation I have some really sad news to share. The two baby meerkats that were born on Saturday sadly died on Sunday afternoon. To be honest we were really surprised that Sybil (mom) knew what to do, as they been rescued from an awful place where they were kept for 18 months in separate cat boxes. The first time the were together was when they came to us, so the fact that they mated at all is amazing! Anyhoos we have since found out that they can have 11 litters of up to 5 pups each time in 3 years lol....feel a bit happier knowing that!

On with happier things....

Today is the start of another challenge over at The Stamping Chef. I'm not sure if you know this, but every week on a Wednesday we start a new challenge & its always

ANYTHING GOES!

you can enter using any image, but if you use one of Tamara's fab images you will be entered twice into the draw for the chance to win 3 fab Stamping Chef images....why not pop over & enter!

I decided to use an older image this time as our Danni loves this image & its her 17th (arghhhh!!) birthday soon, so I have made this for Katie to give to her big sister.

I was thinking of cutting out 17 on my Ecraft & sticking it in the bottom right corner,
but not sure....what do you think?

My poor boy, after months of training only managed Ben Nevis......but that is ok because he had already done the other two before. He is now home & safe where he belongs, I might be able to sleep tonight!
Even tho he didn't manage to finish it all I am still so proud of my gorgeous hubby xx
