Alice In Wonderland

It's Saturday Yay family time for me...well kinda anyhoos! Our eldest has gone into Derby on the train with her boyfriend to check out the Uni for next year. So proud of her & her drive to succeed, but I'm dreading the day she goes! There will be lots of tears from me & our Katie will miss her the most because they are always & I mean always together!!

Parliament of Owls!

Hey, good morning. I hope your weather is better than ours, its rained all night & is still raining now!! Really wanted to take Nico out for a pootle today, looks like that's gonna have to wait!! 

Anyhoos, I'm here today to share with you my creation for My Time To Craft. Where this fortnight we want to see your

When I saw this image a few months back I just fell in love with her. I decided to make Nige a set of owl things lol....we have been together 20 years on the 23rd of this month so I thought as I didn't make him a wedding anniversary card this will make up for it!! I just need a frame for the big one.

This is about 8 x 10" just hope it looks ok when framed!

Used my new background die & feathers I have had for ages, but never used.

Decided to make a tag to go on the frame when I have wrapped it up!

'Lil Bookworm fairy'

Well what a pants few days I have had health wise. We had a fabulous day at Rhyl airshow, only for me to forget to take my pain meds before we went. So I was in agony by the time we got home. I kinda fell into bed & stayed there or on the sofa for the next two days. managed to get myself moving yesterday. But my damn back, I still can't stand up straight!

Anyhoos, I won't be doing that again lol

Bathroom Wallpaper!

Wow, I can't believe it's 10 days since I last posted a card! The time has just flown by, I have spent most of it in bed tho lol! Dr decided to change my pain meds last week & I felt so blurgh that I just spent 5 days either in bed or on the sofa watching rubbish with Nige! Starting to feel better now tho, thankfully. Just hope he doesn't decide to do anything else to my meds when I go back!

Anyhoos, I have managed to make a card (really missed my crafting, needed to get back) & I really love it lol....I went to the Range with my mom a few weeks ago & I was just having a nosey around the wallpapers, as you do. I spotted this gorgeous bathroom one, with dolphins, fishes & oh it was just gorgeous. I said to mom about it & the fact that I can't have it because our bathroom is floor to ceiling tiled booooo! Mom had the genius idea of taking a sample (didn't know you could do that!!) well as soon as I got home I knew what I was going  to do with it.....this weeks sketch over at 

Try Stampin' on Tuesday has what I kinda thought to be portholes...you will get what I mean when you see my card......

Just loved making this card...think I'm gonna give it 

my mom as it was her idea behind the reason I made it!

Blue Kitty!?!

Today's My Time To Craft post is a little bit late....no idea where my week goes to! I did pop into The Range today & a few crafty things fell in my basket lol! I am loving the new 'Back to Basics' colour range...problem is...I NEED them all lol

Anyhoos today is a very special day in the Swinscoe household. Our baby stinky butt is 1 today, I can't believe it, its gone so quickly from when I found out he had been born to now!!!

This is a picture of Nico & his siblings taken about 2 hours after he was born 

And this is my boy today, trying to eat me lol

I never in a million years thought he would be the wonderful friendly & so loving skunk that he is. He has certainly won my heart & Nige thinks the world of him too
